Today, we are celebrating the 76th National Donut Day with Regal Bakery!
Did you know that National Donut Day was first celebrated by The Salvation Army in 1938 to raise funds for people in need during the Great Depression, as well as honor Salvation Army “donut lassies” who fed the tasty confection to American soldiers during World War I as a quick treat on the front lines?
We are carrying on the tradition today by handing out free donuts at all Regal Bakery locations! Regal Bakery is also generously donating a percentage of today’s sales to The Salvation Army – we thank them for helping us do the most good!
So stop by today and help celebrate this wonderfully sweet day!
