A Message from Our Divisional Leaders

Aloha to our Salvation Army ‘Ohana,

It is National Salvation Army Week! We are thankful for this opportunity to recognize and honor our supporters who give their time and talents to The Salvation Army each year and enable critical services to communities, families, and individuals in need.

We are thrilled to announce that we have raised more than $200,000 through our 2015 Partners in Community Service Gala! The majority of the monies raised will go towards our Pathway of Hope initiative. In addition, 41 keiki will receive scholarships to attend our Camp Homelani during the summer and a portion of the funds raised at PICS will go to our Family Treatment Services program.

Your monetary donations and volunteerism has a huge impact on the way we Do The Most Good each day!

This past Saturday, our Hilo, Kauluwela, and Kroc Corps choirs blessed us with such heavenly music at The Salvation Army’s 2015 Encore Competition here on O‘ahu. In addition to the choirs, talented soloists and our Kaneohe hula halau performed for a spot in the Territorial Encore Competition. We’d like to congratulate our Kauluwela Mission Corps for winning the choir competition!

Last but not least, we’d like to send our prayers to all of the mothers in Hawaii and the Pacific Islands. Mothers sacrifice so much for their children and dedicate hours of their day to taking care of them. Whether you’re married, single, expecting, a mother of five, an auntie, working, or a stay-at-home mom, we honor you for the unconditional love you give to your children.

God bless,
